Another devastating earthquake struck Latin America this week, causing widespread destruction across one of Colombia's poorest and hardest to reach regions, Chocó.  

The 7.4 magnitude earthquake collapsed homes, claimed lives, and left survivors in the kind of stunned, hollow silence that follows catastrophe.
